Published on

There’s no such thing as “Monday Blues” when you book a holiday to North Wales! Enjoy a mid-week escape to Rwst and create lasting memories with all the family.
Why is North Wales the perfect mid-week holiday destination?
North Wales is the perfect midweek getaway to help you relax and switch off for a few days.
Being away from the city life and amongst the rural surroundings, whether the purpose of your mid-week break is to relax or inspire, staying in North Wales gives you the chance to do both. There are a variety of activities and places to suit all.
Explore Snowdonia National Park
If you’re looking to explore during your stay, Snowdonia is a must! Snowdonia is by far the largest National Park in Wales as well as being home to Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), the highest mountain Wales at 1,085m. Its river valleys, hills, mountains, woodland, and beaches make Snowdonia a place of exploration for all the family.

Get an Adrenaline Rush at Zip World
If you are a thrill seeker and looking for adventure, why not try Zip World Velocity? The fastest zip line in the world since 2013! You can look at spectacular views over Penrhyn Quarry and Snowdonia alongside the ultimate adrenaline rush.

Head to the Beach!
If you’re looking for something more peaceful, a relaxing walk along the coastline is not hard to come by, with 250 miles of coastline in North Wales, there is a beach to suit you. West Shore Beach in Llandudno is a beautiful sandy beach, backed by extensive low sand dunes, with plenty of space to keep yourself to yourself, and enjoy the peaceful stroll with panoramic views of Snowdonia.
Alternatively, Llandudno's North shore beach offer those leisurely seaside walks whilst exploring shops, arcades, stalls, live music, and fun fair rides that the children will love!

Stay Local
And let’s not forget the place we call home - the historic market town of Llanrwst!
Llanrwst is just a short walk outside the borders of Snowdonia National Park. Home to the very popular attraction Pont Fawr, this bridge was constructed in 1500s, just across this bridge you will find Tu Hwnt i’r Bont, the very popular Welsh tearoom situated on the river Conwy with spectacular views and delicious scones – visit later in the year to be rewarded with the world famous views of the tearooms in all its autumnal glory (see picture).

Why not bring your dog on your mid-week stay?
We wouldn’t want you to leave your furry friends at home when North Wales really is a superb dog-friendly destination. It’s a beautiful place with an incredibly high number of spots to visit with your dog.
One of the most popular dog friendly landmarks is the Great Orme, a striking limestone headland in the seaside resort of Llandudno. With several good pathways and its close proximity to the town itself this is a less strenuous dog walk and offers incredible views over Anglesey and, on a clear day, the Isle of Man.
Our dog-friendly self-catering holiday cottages in North Wales are the perfect place to escape the ‘everyday’, beat the crowds and have the coastal locations to yourselves.
